Travel insurance

Hello All, I am looking into getting travel insurance for my safari to
Africa and I would like to know what companies you all have used.

I actually have trip cancellation & other features through my
Mastercard service, the only thing I don't have is medical and
emergency evacuations.

Any recommended companies?

My wife an I have traveled to Africa 5 times. The last 4 we used
TravelGuard and were very pleased with price. Fortunately we did not
have to use their services. They have several plan options so I would
check their website. I also believe that you will need to purchase
through a travel agent.

If you have cancellation insurance already, that's the most
expensive coverage. I use Travelex Lite for my clients and
I recommend it. There have been a few times when claims
were filed (delays, baggage, etc.,) and these were paid
without dispute.
