Let's get Concorde flying again!
noddfellow wrote: A petition to have Concorde flying again even if it is only at air shows can be found at the following web sites. Those of you who are interested can add your name to this petition. I ask you to go along at your earliest convenience and do so http://www.ethical-business.com/defa...detail&pet=720 or at www.save-concorde.com This message has been cross-posted to three other groups. It is hoped that discussion can take place in all of the groups listed. I apologise if this up-sets anyone. Nick Oddfellow I don't really care very much if Concorde gets flying again at airshow. Yes, Concorde was a magnificent (and expensive) achievement, but that era has passed. What will be the point of cruising around a group of spectators if it can't get up to Mach 2. And that will take a lot of fuel which isn't really on the cards (oops) these days. Somehow times change, and the problems we face are different these days. |

I apologise for posting in these groups, it was not intended, but due to the serious abuse of crossposting by the OP noddfellow. He had placed his post in the newsgroup uk.local.isle-of-wight with sneaky follow-up to other groups, and not the group he started in. Abuse report filed. |
