Default evacuation

MAYOR STREET is welcoming all the evacuee's from the south, they do need
the help,but they are getting free housing,free schooling,free food,and
FREE medical care, but how many poor souls in philly that can not afford
medical care get it.
Know many that choose between food, and medicine, they are the forgotten
ones. There are so many homeless people in philadelphia that have lost
their homes because they lost their jobs.
It is not because they do not want to work, but because the aliens are
taking all of the jobs available

Okay...let's clarify.

"Free housing"....they are being given housing in a school that closed
because of budget cuts.

"Free food"....MREs, like the rest of the evacuees, and food that has been
donated by PhilAbundance, the local food bank. The people cooking the food
are volunteering their time.

"Free schooling"....public school is free in Philadelphia, and most other
places for that matter.

"Free medical care"....local nurses and doctors are doing triage at the
school when the evacuees first arrive. Any other medical treatment will
probably fall under PA Medicaid, which is available to all low income
families in the Commonwealth. They but need to apply.

More than a few of those homeless are homeless because they got cut loose
from Hall-Mercer and Philly Psych, too. As for your "aliens" comment, my
grandparents were "aliens" when they first got here. I would imagine yours
were as well.

Sorry danni you are right, granted my great great great grandparents
probably were aliens, but they were not ILLEGAL ALIENS,and my mother
scrubbed the floors of the wealthy jewish people to keep a roof over the
heads of eight children, since my father saw fit(he was jewish) to walk
off and leave her with no child support. So i am from the old school, the
college of hard knocks.

We have aliens as employees, but they are legal aliens, not illegal
aliens. If Americans would apply, we would be happy to hire them,
because it is nice to have employees who speak English. Unfortunately,
they do not want the job.
