Default Route 66

Just completed our Route 66 trip. What a fantastic time!!! There is
alot of the old road still there. Also alot of restored, unrestored
and just plain ruins left. My husband was in awe. He hitchhiked alot
of the Route when he was in the Navy. We took our time and it took us
2 1/2 weeks to drive it from Wilmington, IL to the end Santa Monica
Pier. Want to thank those to helped me way back with information that
I requested, if any of you are still here. I spent almost three months
planing, had excellent directions, contacted several Route 66
Associations in the 8 states. Just wanted to share, anyway every
thinking of doing this it is well worth it.

Thank YOU for thanking those who helped you (I think I might have
been one). So many drop in to this Group, ask questions, get answers,
and disappear.

Thank YOU!
