Default Costa Maya is where, exactly?

Our RCI cruise on the Radiance of the Seas stops in Cozumel one day followed
by "Costa Maya" the next day.

Where *exactly* is the Costa Maya cruise port? I'm looking for a city name
and a distance to Puerto Aventuras for a shore excursion.
A map would be awesome!

I can't find anything that specifically mentions Costa Maya on a map. I've
heard it called Riviera Maya also but I haven't been able to track down an
exact location where I know we are getting off the boat.

Thanks!

-Mark

The city Costa Maya is near is Mahahual, near the Belize border.

Take a look at http://www.maxpages.com/centralamerica/Costa_Maya and

It's exactly at:

N 18'43'56.6
W 087'41'32.2

It's about halfway between Pta. Herrero and Ambergris Cay, if you see
them on the map.

Tom,

Would you have the coordinates for St. Marteen and also Labadee?

Tom,

From Getty

Philipsburg (inhabited place)
Lat: 18 03 00 N
Long: 063 05 00 W

I have this in my GPS from our visit, but I'm not sure where the
location was. Might have been where the ship was anchored a few years
ago.
N 18'04'01
W 063'03'21

and also Labadee?

Negative. We went there before I got my GPS and it's not in Getty.

Tom,

Thanks for the response and the link. We have also been to Labadee prior to
GPS. Not one of my favorite places, but I can't help steer the ship without
knowing where I'm going .
