WEST PALM BEACH, Florida (AP) -- A taxi driver killed a drunken passenger when the man refused to get out of his cab, police said. dreas wrote: I am still a cabbie and have been one for twelve years. I have no problems with taking people places after they have had a few drinks, but there are limits... My basic rules of thumb are that if the customer can't give me an address I can't go there; if the customer's yelling at me and being insulting I don't have to take that customer anywhere; if the customer is staggering and falling down, that customer is unfit to travel. There's nothing wrong with being somewhat drunk, but unconscious and puking are beyond my limits. It's always a judgement call... -'dreas |
