somewhere has everything backed up, fuel prices are yo-yo'ing, etc.,
being helpful or at least pleasant to your customers is within the
grasp of any organization, and very nearly free.

If you want to say Delta equals Ryan Air . . . .

In that case Delta ought to charge fares and fees equal to Ryan Air and stop
touting itself as a major league full-service operation.

Look, I don't fly BA because of the attitude of the crews, but that
doesn't change the fact that if they were the only game in town I'd have
no choice.

It's still a bus with wings.

Flying is no longer pleasant, it's a chore I want over as quickly as
possible.

I agree. Delta used to be one of my favorite airlines. No longer.

The last time I flew with them, a couple of years ago, the ticket cost
twice what a better airline would and the service was crappy.

I only flew with them because I had a couple of "bump" coupons
I needed to use.

I will not likely consider them again.
