Default Airlines and checked baggage size limits

Not true, on the last two flights, they measured our checked baggage. two
different airlines. with the fuel prices, they are really 'by the book' for
luggage. not so much about overweight people.

The inch limits are for carry-ons. For checked luggage the extra fees
are for overweight -- which is 50 pounds, at least on United. Size
limits are for only huge or odd shapes, like bicycles, which require
special handling.
