I might visit Beijing and Shanghai in Novermber or December. How cold
does it get ? Is it a dry cold with no wind or a windy humid cold
weather ? Are the days sunny or is there a thick cloud cover ?

Both, Beijing dry and sunny (depending if the wind blows away the smog),
Shanghai humid and cold (and the wind rarely blows away the smog).

Cheers
