"Viking River Cruises Eastern Europe and Russia itineraries continue to be some of our most popular cruises," says Jeff Dash, President of Viking River Cruises. "We want to ensure that anyone who would like to experience these destinations has the opportunity to do so, which is why we've added more departure dates." Viking River Cruises is offering two more sail dates to its popular Eastern European Odyssey, a 14-night itinerary along the Danube River from Budapest to the Black Sea, and returning to Vienna. The newly added June 26 sailing is a reverse itinerary from Vienna to Budapest to the Black Sea, while the July 10 departure sails from Budapest to the Black Sea to Vienna. Passengers who choose either date will set sail on Viking Danube, which offers all-outside river-view cabins, single-seating gourmet dining and shore excursions led by English-speaking guides. Must-see tours on this itinerary include a Gypsy dinner in Budapest, a Hungarian horse show in Kalosca, tours of Bucharest, Belgrade, Vienna and more. In addition, Viking River Cruises is meeting consumer demand by presenting five new sail dates to its Waterway of the Czars package: * August 18, September 8, September 29: Sailing from Moscow to St. Petersburg during an 11-night stay * August 29, September 19: Sailing from St. Petersburg to Moscow during a 10-night stay Passengers onboard the Viking Surkov experience some of the best-kept secrets of Russia, including the Red Square in Moscow, the Moscow Circus, Kremlin, Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersburg, Hermitage and much more. Similar to the Viking Danube, Viking Surkov passengers will be housed in all- outside river-view cabins, offered single-seating gourmet dining and shore excursions led by English-speaking guides.
