We come with great news. We are more than happy to inform you
INDONESIA TREKKING Start again Casrtensz International Expedition,
this will be fast and swift Expedition using Helicopter directly to
Base Camp or you can choose classic route via Sugafa Village. This is
really a great result from our hard working to arramge and handling
every aspect of Expedition.

For every expedition we limited till 7 climbers maximum participants,
this arrangement will give the best and fastest summitt attack with
most chance for the summitt. Cut of the duration and make you easier
to arrange for your time and become very flexible. We will only need
your confirmation and administration requirements (Copy of passport +
Photograph with red background, please email it in JPG format).

The next will be start on Nopember 15, 2007 and December 15, 2007,
after that we are ready to arrange Expedition in next year. That will
give you spare time to be ready for the expedition. We are so eager to
climb with you and serve you with our Carstensz International

For the first option, trekking route from Sugapa village, our
International Carstensz Pyramid Expedition requires minimum 4 PERSONS
in every departure with cost USD 7.500. And for the second option, by
private charter helicopter, due to high cost on helicopter, the
expedition requires minimum 6 PERSONS in every departure with cost USD
11.500.

CARSTENSZ INTERNATIONAL EXPEDITION

This is the schedulle, but it could be shorter or a longer depend on
the weather and condition. If you have open ticket please be so kindly
to adjust it, for your return date from Indonesia we can adjust it
from Indonesia. When you arrive in Jakarta, we will collect your
tickets (so we can adjust it and assist you to get the suitable date
according to the Expedition progress).
EXPEDITION COST
For the first option, trekking route from Sugapa village, our
International Carstensz Pyramid Expedition requires minimum 4 PERSONS
in every departure with cost USD 8.500. And for the second option, by
private charter helicopter, due to high cost on helicopter, the
expedition requires minimum 6 PERSONS in every departure with cost USD
12.500.
TREKKING ROUTE FROM SUGAPA VILLAGE

ITINERARY PROGRAM
DAY 01 : ARRIVAL IN JAKARTA
DAY 02 : JAKARTA TO BIAK ISLAND
DAY 03 : BIAK TO NABIRE, Stay at non star hotel
DAY 04 : NABIRE TO SUGAPA/BILOGAI (2.300 m)
Being 2.300 m above sea level, Sugapa becomes a perfect place for
aclimatization.
DAY 05 : TREKKING TO MINDOU VILLAGE
DAY 06 - 08: TREKKING DAYS TO CARSTENSZ PYRAMID BASE CAMP
Trekking to Base Camp would take about 7 to 8 hours per day

How to join the expedition
To book the expedition with us, please send your request to us by
email.
Payment
To confirm your booking, we require a deposit payment of USD 1,500 /
PERSON in order to secure permits for the expedition and deposit on
charter helicopter. Due to long procedures of permit application, we
require deposit payment to be paid lately 40 days prior to the
expedition departure (for both the two options). Once permits are
gained, there are no refund on your deposit which has been paid to us.
While the remaining balance of the expedition cost (including airfares
- if booked through us) due on 14 days before expedition departure.
Refunds
Refunds are not made for unused services, except those which can be
recovered from airlines for unused flights and these may be claimed
through us (if the flight bookings made through us) or to the travel
agencies who arrange your flight bookings.
Cancellation
If you cancel your booking there is no refund on each deposit and
balance payment.
Changes to the itinerary
Carstensz Pyramid Expeditions are organized many months in advance and
it may become necessary to make alteration on your plan. Where
practically, we will advise you of such changes before you depart to
Indonesia, although occasionally we may be forced to make changes en
route due to the causes beyond our control. You should keep in touch
with us.
Travel insurances
All of our tours are not covered by travel insurance. We recommend
that you purchase travel insurance which covers loss of deposits,
cancellation charges, luggage claims, medical expenses and others. The
travel insurance should be arranged at the travel agencies in your
country before you depart to Indonesia.
