Alternatives to car rental insurance
Since you do not own a car and have no auto insurance, I don't know how your liability insurance would be covered. Do you have any liability insurance? Using a major credit card to pay for the rental, you should be able to decline the "collision damage waiver" insurance which is offered by the renters. Check with your credit card company to be sure that you have this benefit. If you do have an accident, it is important to NOTIFY YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY FIRST AND LET THEM HANDLE IT! If you notify the renter first, the charges for the damage could be immediately applied to your card. B.A. Please note: To avoid spam, unsolicited email is automatically deleted unread by my server. Only mail which comes from comes those who are already in my address book is put through. If you wish to send me an email, kindly say so in a post, before attempting to send the mail. I will then notify you when my line is open to you. |
