Paul,
go to google.com and type in "call costs Malawi" there are several options there. It is annoying how call rates vary, we have Onetel to call our son in NZ, it`s only 3 pence per minute but to friends in Kenya it`s 23 pence a minute! You should find something on google. Pat. -- Pat Anderson thanks. In fact, I used this list: http://niftylist.co.uk/ and found a good reputable company offering 1p a minute to Malawi! So I am happy with that! I must say though, that when I emailed www.simplyfone.com asking how they could afford to offer such a service I received a very reply saying "don't worry about it" to which I said that it didn't fill me with confidence that Orange wouldn't charge me, which was why I asked. This was met with a rude reply saying "your loss". Which was when I phoned Orange and they confirmed that it most likely will be charged at International rate, regardless of the number being an "07" number. |
