Default Fire at Canada Place Pier

Folks:

This morning at about 9:30AM a fire was started by a transient living
under the pier. The fire soon became a 3 alarm fire with fire boats
being called in. The road under the pier was jack hammered up to allow
access to the fire.

The Waterfront skytrain was closed till the afternoon rush hour while
fire crews battled the fire.

Canada Place itself was not damaged.

The fire is currently out and is expected to have no effect on cruise
traffic.

Strange but True:
1) California law prohibits a woman from driving a car while dressed in
a housecoat.
2) In Utah, birds have the right of way on any public highway.
