A True Story that happed in China
A True Story that happed in China.
Tony arrived at airport of Shanghai. He wanted to have a one-day trip cause it's first time for him to visit China. He contacted a local travel agency with cheaper price. He was so excited during his waiting. He expected wonderful scenery spots, delicious food, an excellent guide. But during the trip you see what happened. Michel is a local guide from the travel agency. "Michel could you please speak more clearly and slowly. I guess I understood what you mean. But not fully." Michel speaks Chinglish what gives me hard-working to understand. "Michel here is so crowded. No view to see but people, thousands and thousands. Shall we change the schedule a little bit. Why not put it to afternoon." "I do my job only according to the schedule. Changing is impossible." Michel answered. "Tony You must be hurry." "But I just arrived the Bund." "We will go to Jade Buddha Temple next. It takes much time from here." "This is sightseeing in the bus?" We arrived a tea shop. "Tony Please taste it." "Michel we have to go. We still have many sites to see." "We have much time." Michel protested. "That's waste of time." But what can I do. "Michel the dish of dinner is always same as lunch. Yak! Fried chicken with peanuts, potato soup with egg." "That's set menu." "Changing is impossible, I know." Tony answered by himself. This was an awful trip. Tony could not figured it out. That's the service of travel agency in the booming city Shanghai? He tried another travel agency with higher price. It was recommended by a friend. It's totally different from the former experience. Lily is a local guide this time. "Lily you like a English native-speaker. Your English is excellent!" "Thank you." "Tony this morning the weather is not nice to have a good view of Shanghai from Oriental Pearl TV tower. It will be clear in the afternoon according to weather forecast. Let's enjoy Yu Garden first." "Tony don't be hurry. Take your time. If you like the Bund very much, we can spend much time on it." "Tony do you like sipping Chinese tea. We can cancel tea shop from the schedule, if you don't really like." "I don't need shopping. More time on sightseeing." "Tony the dish of dinner is homemade style featured by pork and fresh vegetable, which is different from that of lunch." This time it was really a wonderful trip! Which travel agency will you choose? Please think it over. ************************************************** ************************ Study Tour We offer foreign travelers very special tour in China.
