Thanks, Injun Joe It's only Approximately 70 miles. Rental Car 1 way for about $40.00 (Then $40.00 back 1 way) Bus? If you live in Baton Rouge, Give a friend a few bucks to drive you? How inexpensive are you looking for? "ST" "Everywhere is within walking distance, if you have the time" (-Steven Wright -) |

One is Greyhound (I don't know the schedules or fares) and the other is a connecting service from Amtrak that operates about 3 times a day for a cost of $16 each way. I suspect that the Amtrak bus is quicker - I think the Greyhound bus swings south into Houma before continuing on to New Orleans. Note that the drop-off location is the same for both in New Orleans (the train station), but I can't vouch for Baton Rouge. :-Dan |
