Default Massachusetts small town soda fountains

Hi,
I'm planning a trip to New England and was wondering if anyone knew of
a small town in Mass with a good old fashioned drugstore soda fountain
(with ice cream)?

Thanks
Louis

On the highway, north of Boston going toward Waltham, is a very old
(1700's) candy store, that includes a complete ice cream bar where you
can concoct your own sundaes. Plus sales of fudge, licorice, and
everything imaginable.

Worth a stop.

Thanks for your reply,
Do you know the name of the highway or the store?

Kind Regards,
Louis
