Jeff (exhibiting clear signs of forgetfulness) You are just pretending to be old like us(VBG). Oct 16, 2010 http://www.motherofallgroupcruises.com/ sue That is way far away Sue!!! You know me, I won't even think about that until like summer next year, lol.... That is gonna be one big ship! Almost scary I'd say! 5400 passengers! Can I surf on that one and ice skate?? With the Oasis you may not get a cabin if you wait too much.lol It is way too big for me, but Kevin really wants to see it and we have a balcony in case I need a place to hide out.lol sue I'm think I'll get lost! Arranging to meet people is a must on that ship -- can't imagine you run into people much? Who knows? For sure it is a ship where we have to arrange to meet. The other thing to keep in mind is that it being a MOAGC there will be a nightly gathering between the two dinner seatings. If you don't see me, I will be in one of the hot tubs or on our balcony.lol sue |

Got my docs for the Summit Easter week cruise way down south! 4 new ports for me - Dominica, Grenada, Bonaire and Aruba. Can't wait, thanks George, and thanks for the nice note too! Jeff Jeff, Dominica has some great diving, depending on which side of the Island the ship docks on. Dominica is definitely a land vacation in my book. Night life outside of Rousseau may be very limited. But the natural life is more than abundant. Along rivers there are thermal springs that locals have created into hot tubs by surrounding them with rocks. Boiling Lake is definitely an all day trip but worth it if you don't have a ship to catch. I think Dominica has as many waterfalls as Minnesota has lakes. Jeff once you see Dominica you will want more - that is if you get outside of Rousseau -- ________ To email me, Edit "blog" from my email address. Brian M. I'm not sure I can do all I want to do in Dominica in one visit, which just means I need to go back! Do they speak French there? Def want to fit in the "Champagne snorkeling" over the reef that has the volcanic gasses and a nice mud bath on land would be good! I could see slumming on that island for a while on a land trip. I hate to have to tell you, but the hot tubs that hang over the water are on the Freedom calss ships. I do not thing the Oasis has the same thing, but I am sure it has some great hot tubs. When we were on the Solstice and the Freedom was docked with us, I got a really great picture of the hot tub on it. After seeing "my" hot tub, I was tempted to switch our Jan. 2010 to the Freedom instead of the Grandeur.LOL sue |

Jeff Hey, Jeff, you're a great peep, too! Thanks. Have a blast on this trip. So exciting to visit new ports--Grenada and Bonaire would be new to us, too. Can't believe you've never hit Aruba, though! The island isn't pretty, but gotta love the hot, sunny beaches and fun-lovin' Dutch. We hit Dominica on a day not great for snorkeling, so wanna hear about that champagne snorkel over the reef! Be sure you figure out timing if you decide to go up the mountains-- the roads are pretty bad, so it eats into your day. Diana |
