Default Ryanair into Barcelona-Girona

Hi

Anyone any experience flying into here? (I'm flying from Glasgow-Prestwick)
How far from central Barca? Reliable transfers? Method/cost of transfer?

Have previously done GLA-PIK to Paris-Beauvais and found the above to be AOK
....

TIA

Flynn

hi
Barcelona is quite away from Girona. We do airport transfers and carry
up to 6 people and it costs £95

Please let us know if you are interested I am sure you will find that
is a reasonable rate if you compare.

Thanks
Nicky

as usual, full information regarding connecting bus links is to be found
on the Ryanair web site.

Just select destinations and go from there

I did it in the summer. I was touring around so I hired a car. Its
about 50 minutes from Girona airport to Barcelona

Following up to Flynn

How far from central Barca?

Girona is a completly diffferent place from Barcelona. Look at a
map well north of Barcleona

There is a Train Station not too far from the Gerona Airport. Sorry I cant
remember its name but if I had to take a guess its about 1-3 miles away. It
is on the Portbou - Barcelona line. They run fairly frequently - in the
summer at least. If there is a bus shuttle into Gerona itself take that and
get on at Gerona.

From Girona airport you can take the Ryanair bus to the center of
Barcelona for 8 euro in about one hour.

You'll find information on the Ryanair website
http://www.raynair.com and then go to:

'destinations'-'spain'-'barcelona/girona' and there in the yellow box at
the right on: 'airport guide, bus, rail, train'. On this page you can
click for a PDF file on a textlink that says: 'for a complete list on
bus service from BCN to/from Girona airport'

In the same sense that Heathrow is a completely different place to
London? The bus into London would take about as long!

In the sense that selling the Girona airport as a Barcelona airport is a
sort of joke
