Cheap tickets from Germany?

Hi, are there any ways to travel from Germany to the East coast on a budget
during July/August? Any tips for a cheap/last minute flight?

Well the cheaper the better....regular flights Frankfurt - NY are ~600-700
Euro (700-800 USD) around that time, so something around 400 Euro or less
would be great ;-)

:-)...good point...since it was rec.travel.usa-canada I assumed people would
understand the US/Canadian east cost...preferably the northeast (New
York/etc.)
