Default Tanzania questions

What is the best month, excluding the peak months of July and August, for a
Tanzania safari that would include the northern parks and the Selous?

Am I correct that a railroad runs through the Selous to Dar? If so, does the
train take passengers? If so, I would welcome any comment on the trip.

Many thanks.

June would be pretty good, better than August in the Serengeti.
Otherwise, late Jan/early Feb when the wildebeest and Zebras are
dropping their calves.

What a pity that newsgroups don't have designated moron-free areas.
