Hotel Choice on Ft Myers Beach?
"PaulK" wrote in message
m... Hello, We have a vacation coming up this Spring and have decided on Fort Myers Beach. We have the pick of either the Ramada, Howard Johnson, or Days Inn. We'd like to know which one would be best for a clean, nice hotel. Price doesn't matter (this time, as long as it's one of the above hotels). Nothing fancy and we think we'll be out of most the Spring Break time so something fun, but more quiet than loud. We like to relax by the beach, but pool is OK, too. Drink within reach. Some shade is nice. Thanks in advance.... Paul There are many nice hotels/motels in the area that are not chain hotels. It has been my experience that supporting small businessmen is a very important thing to do. Why not contact the Chamber of Commerce and get a complete list of all lodging in the area and find a nice INDEPENDENT hotel that can meet your needs and expectations. SD |

Hotel Choice on Ft Myers Beach?

... I respect your point of view and I would probably follow it, but we have points built up to get 7 nights free. Those points only work at the three hotels listed, though.... Ah, that makes sense. Well, in that case I would choose the Days Inn since they are one hotel chain that almost always allows pets. Not that you have a pet. But I always try to support pet-friendly hotels (and other establishments) whenever possible. SD |
