We were in Greenland and Iceland on the Ocean Princess last July and the weather was not too cold. But that IS the North Atlantic and you should be prepared in case it does get cold. layering should do the trick. P.S. You will have lots of daylight hours to see the sights. Too bad you will have missed the 'Midnight Sun' by about month. unless you have an inside cabin, you may want to take along a eye mask for sleeping. All that daylight can be disorienting. My guess is that they're not missing the midnight sun. Up as far as Iceland, there may be 24 hours of total daylight for as much as 2 months, so they may still catch it. Or at worst, they may have 15-20 minutes of semi darkness. It's still going to be bright outside. --Tom |
