You really need medical care. Mopping up?? It seems that a LOT of US soldiers
are dying in the on-going hostilities. All that is really happening is staunch
geurilla resistance.

Then the US will "win the war" and hand their stinky mess to the UN to "solve"
along with peacekeepers from canada and other nations.

Yes, you need medical care.

Being from Holland (Amsterdam) there is no doubt in my mind that
Americans are treated differently. Why? Simply, because WE DO NOT LIKE
AMERICANS....never have, never will. I am not talking for myself but
this seems to be the general opinion. That’s just the way it is
and you guys keep on giving us reasons to dislike you...best change
your attitude like al travellers do when they go abroad...

Gee, wish I'd known that last week when having many conversations with a
couple from Amsterdam who had rented an RV and were touring the U.S. I
may not have been as hospitiable, although "origins" hardly entered our
discussions. They were more interested in learning about interesting
destinations and relaying their (very good) experiences to-date. They
are having a "trip of their lifetime."

And this just on the wire services. "Ugly Dutch?"

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - A planned nudist bicycle tour in the
Netherland's so called bible-belt has upset local churchmen who are
holding their own youth charity bike ride the same day.
They have tried in vain to get local authorities to ban the nudists to
stop them clashing with the youth chapter of the Reformed Church when
they both take to the road in the eastern town of Apeldoorn on June
12.

The nudist tour is part of the World Naked Bike Ride which also takes
place in London, Chicago, Los Angeles, Montreal, Toronto and Pforzheim
in Germany.

The organizer of the church bike tour told the ANP news agency
Thursday he had tried to coordinate the routes with the nudist tour to
avoid any embarrassing meeting but had obtained no reply.

He is now asking the 300 or so cyclists on his youth tour to call the
police if they see any nudists.

"Nudity in public is provocative and illegal," he said.

Strangely, there have been more than 90,000 American combat deaths since
1950.

Nice exercise in semantics. The US did not lose a war in Vietnam
because they have decided that technically it was not a war, presumably?

The United States did not lose the Vietnam militarily. They lost it
politically.

According to most Americans, you didn't lose the War of 1812 either.

Yep. After failing to achieve a military victory and losing 60,000 troops and
many times that coming home wounded, they lost interest and wanted out.

Having screwedd everything up royally, they would like to hand it over to the UN
to clean up the mess... and pay the bills.

Yes, you need medical care.

Much of the comments in this thread are based on experiential evidence, thus I
assume you have experienced this sensation as you describe it. I really don't
know, nor want to know that sensation.

Not true confession time on my part, BUT I sincerely hope you were/are cured of
the aforementioned gonorrhea if you did indeed have it.

So you're suggesting instead the US maintain control in Iraq? How do
you think the Iraqi government is going greet your suggestion?

The US won't "win" and will hand over the stinking mess they started (with their invasion) for someone else to deal with while at the same
time extolling their mattra "WE won the war!! WE won the war!! What revisionistic bull****.

Your superpower does not have the ability to create peace, just to "win" by killing all opposition and flattening the country. Kinda like
the German Panzer division did when they opened up on the Polish Calvary at the beginning of WW II. Even though they overran Poland they
had nothing but trouble for the rest of the "war". Then the Germans were defeated. The US won't win the peace offensive because they do
NOT have the capability. If they did have that capability why do they pass off the destroyed countryside to someone else AND ask them to
get involved in the peace process.
