Anybody know when Jetstar are starting flights to New Zealand. Checked

Thanks Don't think there's much need for Jetstar on the New Zealand run, there's supposed to be overcapacity now. Perhaps they're having second thoughts? Jetstar - stringent boarding policy, if you show up 29 minutes before your flight you do your dough, no exceptions. Seat pitch the minimum you can get away with. No seating allocation, a free for all. Virgin Blue - a bit more tolerant, though you're still expected to arrive half hour before flight. Acceptable seat pitch. Seating allocation given, so boarding is orderly.. Regards David Bennetts |

Jetstar --Lousy, cold, small and half full cups
Virgin -- Good, hot, large and full cups. Why do you wanna go to NZ anyway? -- ** Have a great day today, and and even better day tomorrow ** Regards .. Who'd bother with them??
Right now it's dirt cheap to fly to NZ on Emirates, Garuda, Thai, Freedom Air, Air NZ, Aerolineas Argentinas, Qantas, Lan Chile, Malaysian. HUGE over-capacity, resulting in give-away fares!! You can now fly to Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Dunedin, Queenstown, Christchurch from Australia. wrote in message ups.com... I have heard bad things about Jetstar in Australia. Flights being changed or cancelled when the people booked on them had to make a boat departure in the Whitsunday Islands. Result was they did not make their boat departure and lost the full price of the boat trip as a result.
I would not use them go Virgin Blue they are more reliable. Air New Zealand if going to NZ Cheers Martin If coming to Australia check this site out. I like it because of the photos. www.ozmagic.homestead.com Quote:

"Anne Purvis" wrote in message ... We booked over 4 months ago to fly from Brisbane to Cairns & return the week before last. We booked flights at times to suit us, specifically midday either way, five days apart. They changed the flights on 3 occasions so that we got up there late at night and left early in the morning - not what we wanted. But although (of course) they offer to refund fares they have you over a barrel. By then it was too late to change to Virgin. I wouldn't fly with them again unless I heard from several sources that Virgin Blue was just as bad. Anne I too have heard of Jetstar cancelling a flight and dumping their passengers to fend for themselves. Of course they give a refund, but not much good if you've got to seek out an alternative at short notice - you're likely to end up paying at least three times the discount fare, if you can get on a plane. Hardly a way to encourage repeat business. Never heard of any such problems with Virgin Blue, see http://www.virginblue.com.au/about_us/awards/ for the awards they have received. Look on www.jetstar.com.au for their awards and you won't find any. Regards David Bennetts |
