Driving Across USA and Canada Gear List?
All:
I very much enjoy this news group and was wondering if any of you had a gear list for driving across the USA and Canada. Backpackers have gear list, why not folks driving across North America? BTW, next week, I'll be driving from Phoenix, AZ to St. Louis, MO for a consulting gig, so any tips would be much appreciated. Tom Welch |

I would just like to add that all first aid kits should include surgical gloves. Good point. You never know when you're going to need to do an emergency rectal exam. (Don't forget the K-Y!) |

... Driving Gear List: 1. Vehicle 2. Credit Card 3. Map (optional) That's my list, too! You're probably gone, but if not, you might want to bring some tunes - sometimes it's hard to find a good radio station while passing through rural areas (unless you like religious programs). Other than that, just stay on the pavement and don't speed on small town streets. |
