Peri, is the Seattle's Best coffee free or is there a charge for it?

The Azamara Journey buffet area had a couple of freshly ground coffee
machines, self service, and it was very good coffee. This was one cruise
that we didn't have to pay to get good coffee.

Hi Sue,

Seattles Best coffee is free on Royal Caribbean.

Thanks Ray.

On the Azamara
Journey they had Expreso machines in the buffet area and it was
complimentary.

These machines are where we got our coffee every morning and it was
soooo good. I wish other cruise lines would follow and do the same thing.

No thisis notlike putting towels on chairs by the pool, and people do
this even on the promenade and other decks, they are just
inconsiderate,as far as the buses go,when you book a tour,,and get a
seat on the bus most people usually return to the seat they had when
they started the tour,It is just common courtesy, and we did not ask you
to move,we did not want to start a bru-ha-ha,and you looked like the
type that would

This is one time I will agree with you. They should have at least asked.

However I don't think a peeve against Rosalie is on topic in this
thread. It is not a pet peeve. It is a personal peeve.

Ugh, on Pride of Hawaii this summer they were actually blocking
you from getting OFF the ship! They had these stupid characters
(different at each port) and they insisted on trying to take a
photo of you as you were walking through the terminal. There was
no "no photo" line so I had to push my way through instead of
waiting while some other sucker was getting their picture taken.

My biggest pet peeve is charging for stuff that should be (or at
least used to be) free, like ice cream in the promenade on RCI
ships (yes I know it is free upstairs). And a REALLY big pet
peeve was how you couldn't even get a cookie or muffin for free
at the cafe on Grandeur. At least on Explorer class ships there
was a cafe where they were free, but on Grandeur you had to buy
something at the ice cream/coffee place to get one of the "free"
items.

How about the photographers set up all over the ship. The set-ups and the
lines waiting to have their pictures done block the flow of traffic. This
is particularly bad when a person is in a wheelchair.

Why is it more annoying to seniors? Do you get some sort of
allergy or sixth sense to know when someone has peed in the pool
as you get older?

Amen to that. Despite the big signs that say "Adult Only." And
there's usually at least three deck crew members standing by
the hot tub oblivious to the goings on..

Right. It has nothing to do with the topic or even the thread drift.

She's brought this up before, but always before it has been that we
took the seats of another person - this is the first time it's been
that we took HER seats.

I do not remember this incident - Annie never introduced herself,
although she said she recognized me. So she had the advantage of
knowing who I was (or who she thought I was).

That one is easy... I just smile, say "no thanks"
and keep walking.

Yes, I do the same. But, they still feel like an intrusion. They also
tend to hold everyone up while getting off the ship at one of the port
stops.

I find it annoying that you have to go through the photographer
gauntlet each time you disembark in port. They should have two lines -
one for those that would like to have their picture taken, and one for
those that would rather get going on whatever they've planned for
their day in port, without delay!
