he will drive you everywhere all over Angkor Wat site. before letting
to you enter each temple, he will give you short descriptions about it.
For more detailed explanations, I recommend you the book written by
Michel glaize in French. The 1st edition goes back to 1944. an updated
version can be bought for 5 usd from the kids at Angkor.

To drive you around, there are 3 options :

1) Motor bike-taxi: 6 USD on the site of Angkor and 12 USD outside
(for example Banteay Srey or Phnom Kulen)
2) Motor bike-trailer (a kind of tuk-tuk): 10 USD on the site of
Angkor and 20 USD outside
3) care (with airco): 20 USD on the site of Angkor and 40 USD outside.


Personally I had used Mr Thoeun MEAS services at end August 2005. I
contacted him by mail. he came to pick me at the airport on my arrival
at 09:00 Sunday 28/ao=FBt. He brought me to the guest house and visits
to the temples started at 10:15. wow, what a service!

During my short stay Siem reap, Mr MEAS is always smiling which is the
mark of a courtesy. he is an excellent driver and a professor of kmer.
I learned few words from him.

I can only warmly recommend him to all travellers who wish to have a
english speaking driver to visit Angkor Wat temples. In addition to
English Mr Thoeun MEAS speaks also French, Russian and Vietnamese.

Caution: to be sure to have Mr Thoeun MEAS during your stay, you
should contact him in advance by mail. he checks his mailbox daily.
