Best time to visit South Africa

When is the best time to visit South Africa including Kruger Park, Cape Town,
Vic Falls? We want to see animals and visit a major city or two.

Actually, Victoria Falls are in Zimbabwe, and I don't think it's the moment
to visit them because of the situation in the country. Best time to visit
them is about April when the rain comes. I remember I was there in that
month.

I looked on tourist book and they say kruger is good to be visited in Summer
(July, August) because you can see more animals (water is scarce) and the
foliage less. Well, I thought a park is better to be seen when in full life,
that is now....
