Airlines with major ops in SAN?
I know no major airline has their headquarters based in San Diego, but do
any airlines have a big enough presence there to justify having their own full time airline-employed IT staff at the airport or downtown? |

The last major presence at SAN was PSA, which had their headquarters there
until they were bought out by US Air (now US Airways) in 1987. But I don't think any carrier has any reservations or IT department there today. "John" wrote in message ... I know for a fact, as I had applied for a position there, that SWA's IT department is in-house. In fact, I hadn't seen any contracting company/headhunters looking for anyone for jobs at SWA. On the other hand, I used to work for the company that housed the ticketing software for USA and AAL. It owuld be safe to say that their IT departments are outsourced. But SWA definitely has theirs in-house. BL. - -- Brad Littlejohn | Email: Unix Systems Administrator, | Web + NewsMaster, BOFH..
