American held over child sex allegations PHNOM PENH: A US national has been arrested in Cambodia and accused of having sex with more than five children aged seven to 12 in the latest detention of a foreign suspected paedophile, police said yesterday.* Police said they were considering deporting David Denton to the United States where he would face trial and up to 30 years in prison if found guilty of having sex with a child while abroad.* Denton, 66, who has lived in the kingdom for four years, was arrested at his home on Tuesday after police and child protection activists had trailed him for more than a year, deputy chief of Phnom Penh's anti-human-trafficking department Keo Thea said. – AFP * http://www.childrights-cambodia.org Stop child prostitution in Cambodia
