I wonder if Obama entourage will bring this up today ?

http://www.myfoxla.com/dpp/news/loca...tions-20101004

The list includes $12,433 spent at the upscale Ala Moana shopping center,
$3,030 spent at a group of gift shops next to Jimmy Buffett's Beachcomber
restaurant on Waikiki Beach and $2,146 withdrawn from ATMs on the island of
Lanai, home to a pair of Four Seasons resorts and little else, the Times
said.

Data showed the biggest chunk of out-of-state money -- $11.8 million -- was
spent at casinos or withdrawn from ATMs in Las Vegas.

Ala Moana is not even upscale. It was getting older when I was in
college there and Fasi was mayor.

When I was there, we preferred Pearlridge Shopping Center in Aiea.
Totally enclosed & the cinema that was always freezing inside.
That would be 84-88.

Does anyone know if the old family still has the watercress farm
taking up space the mall developers would love to have?

Even the Post Office mauka in the mall is outdated. opala da Post
Office.. I miss Pearlridge, but have no idea what is going on there
now. I wish I had of bought a home there at the time. I was a
college kid then and just like poke squid, wahines, holo holo, dakine
ladat! hahahaha. If i would have begged borrowed or stolen a home
in Portlock, wow, It'd be fantastic. I had visions of the island
sinking, sorta a 2012 movie kina thing. Maybe thats why I live in the
desert now

Have a great day, and wea da slippahs! No fea wear in da opala slippa
and leave wit da new one, eh! A hui hou!
