pulau sibu
hi
has anyone been to sibu island off johor? i was there once and saw this resort with huts/chalets built around a huge patch of shady trees. thinking of staying there but can't quite remember the name. also, does anyone have other recommendations for a beach resort in Malaysia easily accessible from Singapore (ie. within 3 hours bussing)? looking for a laid back place. thanks! |

In addition to Sibu there's Pulau Rawa, Pulau Tioman and Pulau Besar all in the same general vicinity. If you want to go the other way into Indonesia there's also Bintan, a quick 45 minute ferry ride which gets you into the terminal before you left Singapore due to time difference. |
