What I was doing the evening of the Presidential debates 10/03/12 Since I find the condescending attitudes of LeftWing moderators of Presidential debates highly annoying, I haven't watched a Presidential debate since Reagan/ Mondale whenever that was. Last night after dinner was no exception. My wife and I downloaded a Netflix movie to one of our computers called 'Mrs Palfrey at the Clarement' and watched it in my office. It starred Joan Plowright. It was entertaining and she is a good actress. It lasted about 1.75 hours and my wife and I watched it on one of the computers in my office. After the movie my wife went into the den and watched I think Dancing with the Stars or some such nonsense. I fussed around my home office, checked the news, my emails and yahoo finance to see what was going on for a while. My wife got in bed sometime about nine and put on 'ghost hunters' on the bedroom tv there. I have been reading the biography of Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. Somebody got it for me for Xmas, birhday or father's day. I forget who or when but at any rate it was on the night stand by our bed from the night before. So I get in bed with her and read for a while while she watched tv. That was the end of that. It must have been some time after nine and no Presidential debates for us. Early to bed ear;ly to rise for me. At age 80 last birthday, I am lucky to seem to still be fine with plenty of energy after about 6 hours sleep Didn't think about the debates until I read about them on the internet early this am. Knew y'all would be interested |
