Philosphically, the life of an expat is to gripe about wherever they're
living. But they became an expat in the first place because they don't
like home, either :-( !!


My generation of expats didn't like the salaries, the politics, the strikes and
high taxation at home, not quite the same thing as not liking home.


Now the issues are the same only different - for example, the low taxes
leading to destruction of public services like NHS, transport etc, more
yobbish behaviour., and so on.
