Fes/fez Question

Hi All

Will be visiting Fez late April early May - may I ask a few questions?

Can someone tell me the sort of weather to expect?

An interesting place to visit for a day outside of Fez (preferably by
train)

any general tips


- I will be posting a trip report on my return along the lines of my other

You can't predict the weather, but the climate should be mild, 15-20C,
rain is possible and so are 'relative' cold snaps below 10C. Bring a
jumper and a rain jacket.

Meknes (and Volubilis by taxi), Rabat, Casablanca, and Marrakech.
Ifrane is nice and close but can only be reached by taxi,

any general tips

Hire an official guide the first day or two until you get used to the
city.
Don't be afraid to say 'No, thank you' 'laa, shukran'
Bring a camera
