Nile Cruises from Aswan to Luxor

HI all,

Do they have crusies everyday from Aswan to Luxor? Is the cruise the
only way to see Kom ombo, edfu and esna? or are there any other options
like making a day trip to Kom Ombo from Aswan and Esna from Luxor. So
My question is what is the shortest(timewise) way to see the three
places.

There's probably a cruise ship leaving every hour from Aswan. There are
dozens of ships docked at all times. They cost about $100 per night I
think. You can find many with an internet search. You may however wish to
take a felluca, a small sailboat, and not just because it costs so much
less. The usual trip is two days and two nights from Aswan to Kom Ombo
where you hook up with a convoy that takes you overland to the temple there
and waits for you and then takes you to Edfu to visit that temple and then
to Luxor. All this for maybe less than $20 total (plus a tip). To take the
felluca you have to like to rough it a bit, eg., no toilets, just climb over
the riverbank. You also sleep under the stars and have to be willing to eat
what they feed you. I liked the food and really enjoyed the trip and anyone
I know or talked to that took it had a good time.
