Default Cheapest way to Durban, SA

Hi there,

I need to travel Durban, South Africa, in this November. From
BANGLADESH it seems very expensive (~$1350) by Asian airliners. If you
know any cheaper air-route to Durban from Bangladesh, please share your
information with me by e-mail. Cheers!

I doubt very much that there is a direct flight from Bangledesh
to Johannesburg. That's exactly Rubon's problem I suspect.
If you went via Europe you would end up at about the same,
maybe even more, EUR600 Dhaka-Frankfurt and at least the
same again Frankfurt-Durban.

Perhaps if you flew from India with an airline that serves
both countries? Emirates would do Madras-JHB for about
INR38000 but I suppose Calcutta would be better, and
then you still have JHB-Durban and a (possibly very) long
train trip to the airport. All in all I doubt it would end up
much cheaper.

David
