Darjeeling Hills.....must visit....

Default Darjeeling Hills.....must visit....

Planning to travel to India??? or the Himalayas.....??? May be we can
help U with some information.... If U plan to visit India or the
Himalayas... there is a must visit place .... clustered amongst the
high mountains .... a tiny hamlet... Darjeeling.... sweet... charming
and ever enchanting..... famous for Tea, which is widely regarded as
"Champagne among teas"... World Heritage Steam Train..... and Breath
Taking Scenic Mountains.... people here are amongst the most friendly
lot and cheerful.... this place is bound to take your breath away....
just do a Google search to see what other's have to say..... if we can
be of any help plz feel free to contact us..... coz we love our place
and would encourage visitors from all parts of the world to come &
savour this unique phenomenon that is Darjeeling.

P.S: this is not an add put up by any travel agency.... we are the
locals residing in Darjeeling

There, there...

I was there too. There is no point in being UGLY on this newsgroup.. The
locals are exactly as the Op states - friendly, etc, etc. etc..... My
apologies to the King of Siam.

My boys had the privilege of studying with some boys from Darjeeling
here in Winnipeg. Those boys were sons of Gurkha soldiers. We western
people could learn a LOT from the Gurkha people. They are not rude nor
obnoxious - neither are "civilized" western people.........
