WooGo Lodging - new name for Yourstay
CAUTION:
The very poor treatment of lodgers by the Yourstay rental business is well documented in google travel groups and on a number of travel related web sites. Due to legal rulings the Yourstay company, which rents apartments in the US and Europe, has had to end their business. This did not prevent the principals in that former company from starting a new business; Woogo dot com, which features the same over-stated rental properties, double billing practices, poorly maintained apartments, and inexcusable customer service. A search in any of the many travel sites will provide additional information about this 'new' business. |

Let's hope that holiday renters take this advice. A business
colleague was one of those unfortunate enough to rent from Yourstay -- now called WooGo. That whole rental operation is one big rip off. |

www.woogo.com 123 W 44th St is listed as their Times Square location. The certificate of occupancy bans their activities, so don't be surprised if you get a visit from inspectors/they end up being shut down...also, fyi, there's a definite mosquito and mouse problem that we're trying to get addressed. Don't take it from me: check out New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development's website -- http://www.nyc.gov/html/hpd/html/onl...ne-portal.html search their website for 123 w 44th st in manhattan, and you can see the most recent rodent violation on August 11th, 2005. Also check out NY Department of Building's website: http://www.nyc.gov/html/dob/html/bis/bis.shtml search for 123 w 44 st in manhattan, and you can see 53 complaints, 39 dept of buildings violations, and 14 ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL BOARD violations. Note that they were cited for elevator problems: complaint 1149482 on August 30th, 2005. |

WooGo Lodging - new name for Yourstay
Yeah, I'm a full year tenant of 123 w 44 st, and woogo.com / yourstay
is illegally using many of the rooms as a hotel w/o a license. Yourstay/Woogo has filed for bankruptcy in Los Angeles. Which is evidently a common tactic to avoid their creditors while maintaining their business and continuing to defraud lodgers.
