On this segment, the "Concierge Choice" "Capture Barbados Photo Tour" invites guests to see the Caribbean through the eyes of renowned Barbadian photographer Ronnie Carrington as he leads photo pros and novices alike across the island, through quaint villages and into "Scotland District" in search of the perfect picture. From the depths of the rural Amazon River basin to three of South America's most cosmopolitan cities, the Seven Seas Mariner's 17-night January 22 voyage from Manaus (overnight) to Buenos Aires (overnight) features the best of both worlds. A bevy of shoreside choices are available throughout this sailing reaching Boca de Valeria, Santarem, Fortaleaza and Salvador de Bahia (Brazil); Punta Del Este and Montevideo (Uruguay). In Rio de Janeiro, guests can explore "Lesser Known Rio and its Favelas," some 550 mysterious steep hillside communities; or learn the seductive samba at the city's most famous dance classroom during "Samba Lessons and Sights of Rio." We had four lecturers on board. The young lady from Ocean Futures was very good. We had another lecturer talking about the ocean. All in all good talks. But do not ask me about the shows,,,, you could not get me off my balcony to see them |
