Default From Which Country, Canadian Citizen Can Use Citizenship Card to Enter Canada

I know from US at least by land, a Canadian citizen can enter Canada without
a passport and only with Citizenship Card. Is that true for from other
coutries? I know US allow US ctizens to enter US with only birth certificate
if traveling from some American islands and Canada, and Mexico.

No, Last time I looked at a map, the
only country it was possible to enter Canada from by land was the
USA.

Seriously though, the Department of Foreign Affairs and
International Trade strongly urges that all Canadians travelling
abroad carry a valid passport, even for the USA. Some non US
countries will accept photo ID in lueu of a passport, but the best
advice is that you should get a passport. You can do this pretty
quickly if necessary for a fee. see:

Some of the Carribbean islands if you are arriving by Cruise ship and a few
by plane.
You would have to check each country to see what thier entry requirements
are.
