Who in the heck is this Kevin that you speak of so lovingly and frequently?

Hi Sue,
Try back-2-back. It is a great feeling near the end of the first
cruise to know that you don't have to pack and you don't have to leave.

Mine would have to be those who hog chairs with towels and then you
see the towels sitting on empty chairs throughout the day. As far as
I am concerned if you aren't in the chair for about 15 minutes or no
family member is right there the chairs are fair game. What do you
guys think?

Mine is having disembark on the last day, I never want a cruise to end.

the over priceing of some products. $2.24 for a can of pop, which cost
of 30 cents a can. A bottle of berringer white zin wine $30.00 which I
retail for $5.99 in my store. $3.00 for a 24oz bottle water which I
sell for $1.19. A 45minute massage for $150.00 and the girl spends 15
minutes trying to sell you something. Cruise lines do deserve a fair
profit but I think they overprice things to a point where people do not
spend. I no longer do any of the above examples. Drink water at
dinner. no more wine and do not buy bottle water. Been on 11 cruises
and saw very little wine drinking at dinner. Have not book a massage
in
the last 5 cruises. I think if they lowered prices they wood make more
money by selling more..

Chris:

My feelings exactly. I certainly can't justify $30 for 6 buck wine.
Thats worse than the markup we get at our local wineries (they roughly
double their store price). However, being mainly a beer drinker anyway,
at least beer markups are much more reasonable and closer to what one
might pay at an airport.

Cheers! -- Rik

Standing in line.

That's my biggest peeve for not cruising too.

The only one that is specific to cruising is the ding ding ding from
the casino. A VERY irritating noise.

If things are overpriced, I don't buy them. If there's art in the
lobby I go through looking at my feet.

MATT:
Agree with you 100% have seen lounges left for 5-6 hours and no one came
near them, also another pet peeve is not having a nice place to sit on
the promenade deck to enjoy looking at the sea.
And while i am on my soapbox, people that bring small children to the
shows, and let them disrupt everything, and think it is funny & cute.

NOT to those sitting at the machines making that sound!!!!
Why would you be annoyed?...Surely you don't spend all your time outside the
casino..It is on only one deck midship usually...with the ship's size and so
many other places to go, it would have to be your choice to be near it!

Second peeve is *pokes* at the buffet line who hold up the entire line
trying to decide what they want...they at least should tell the person (s)
behind them to pass and go ahead of them.

I'm with you Jean but I now just walk around them & ignore the dirty looks.
I can't waste time waiting for the "old timers" to decide whether they want
peas or carrots.

What about the overpriced pictures these days. The embarquation photo that
used to be 4x6 & cost $6.96- now they make it an 8x10 & expect people to
shell out $19.95.
