Default RCCL implementing fees for Johnny Rockets

Subject: RCCL implementing fees for Johnny Rockets

Well.... let's make everything free onboard.. shore excursions, too.

Entry level inside cabins $2200 per person double, 3rd and 4th $1200 per
person.

Entry level outside cabins $3000 per person double, 3rd and 4th $1200 per
person.

Entry level balcony cabins $3800 per person double, 3rd and 4th $1200 per
person.

Everything will then be free onboard and there will be no more complaining
about nickel and diming, gratuities.. what is included and what is not.

The $3.95 goes towards staff gratuities.. just like the charges in the fine
dining venues.

People are just too cheap to throw a couple of bucks per person towards the
wait staff in the casual dining areas.

Babette,
If it goes to the staff, all the better.
It's still a greasy spoon.

I just read on www.Cruise Critic.com that Royal Caribbean will now be
charging a $3.95 fee for eating at Johnny Rockets. The fee will also be

for
take out orders. The fee started with the Mariner of the Sea this week and
will start March 13 on the Navigator of the Sea.
Of course the reason for the charge is the same one they use all the time,
"to manage demand for the restaurant".

Sorry if this was already posted.

The article I read on the Cruise Critic web site says nothing about it
going to the staff. Their spokeswoman says it is about managing the
demand.

It's still a greasy spoon.

It is not a greasy spoon. It is a sanitized, faux version of a 50's
burger joint. I would not spend a penny for food there on a cruise
ship. I would pay for the Malts.

So, now that they are charging a pp fee, does this fee INCLUDE shakes
and malts?

This is why "all-inclusive" resorts are starting to steal many past
cruisers. They're nickel & dimeing it to death.
