Smooth D There is a huge industry in fake antiques in thailand. one way to tell a fake one is by the scratch marks. If it appears rough, it is not old enough to have been worn down smooth by time and handling. Of course, even this can be faked. There is an antique market every saturday or sunday near sanaam luang, where they trade the buddha amulets they keep in pendant cases. sarp |
