Default Arnhemland

I'm planning to travel to the Northern Territories when I'm in Oz this
August and I've spotted a 3-day tour of Kakadu that has an optional 2-
day extension in Arnhemland. The Kakadu tour is a fairly typical AUD
900 per person for a 4WD tour in a small group. The 5-day tour is a
whopping AUD 2700 (so almost $2000 for the extra 2 days). Now I know
that the Arnhemland fees and the small (4-seater?) charter flight are
hardly going to make this cheap, but I was hoping that somebody with
first-hand experience could say "Yeah, go for it!" or "Nah, not worth
it!"

Jon - that's a call only you can make - it's 'value laden' - and without
knowing you and your interests very, very well - impossible.

Jon,

There's a company called Kakadu Dreams, which do 1, 2 or 3 day tours
of Kakadu, Katherine & Litchfield. For the amount you mentioned in the
group, you could do the 3 day trip with enough left over for a stay at
Melaleuca On Mitchell resort in Darwin.

Depends what you want to spend, I guess. For more information, check
out our website www.thewordaustralia.com.au

Have fun while you're there.
