Default How can I get a flu shot in Canada

I am high risk, asthmatic. I have been told that I can get a flu shot
across the border from Niagra with a number at the urgent care. Is
that true? Can I get an appointment with a Dr. or clinic in Quebec
province close to New York? In Montreal? I will fly to Vancouver
where I heard you can get them at the airport. Does anyone know the
logistics?

I was very sick last year and couldn't breathe for months, please let
me know how to go about doing this.

Thank you.

The TV news reported the the clinic at the Vancouver Airport was
administering flu shots. Why not give them a call?

I suggest you wait until your health care system - "the envy of the world"
as Dubya calls it, manages to scrounge up some supply from the inferior
nations who are able to take care of their citizens.

We've got Americans coming up here in droves for prescription drugs and flu
vaccines and we are supposed to envy the US system.

Just more proof that Kerry is right - Bush is simply unable to acknowledge
the need for a change in direction when his strategies don't pan out. Even
when dire results are staring him in the face he takes the approach that it
is a sign of weakness to admit something needs changing. God forbid a boy
from Texas admits any weakness. I can just hear him saying ;

"How can we expect seniors to keep the will to fight to live if we don't
tell them we have the best health care in the world/"

We'll send you whatever we have left.

Well said.

Please don't think most Americans are like George W. Bush and his
supporters.

If Bush gets another term, there are a LOT of us who will be considering
moving to another country - such as Canada and trying to get permanent
resident status and eventually citizenship.

I will no longer feel any allegance to the United States if Bush gets in
again. Don't worry, we would be bringing savings and retirement income and
health insurance so we would not be a drag on your system. I don't think
the United States can survive four more years of Bush.
