Default What to wear and what to bring on your Antarctica trip?

Hi All,

Being from a warm country, it was quite a challenge to find the right
clothes for Antarctica. Although I had it all figured out quite well, I
was not experienced enough to predict the Antarctica weather:
the sun was shining so I went out without my waterproofed gloves
(as I find those thick thick gloves very UN-practical when going off
the ship in the rubber zodiac boats).

Unfortunately, it started to snow, and my hands became wet, and of
course very very cold.

It took more than half a year before this cod feeling went out of my
hands,
so better be prepared better than me!

More tips on what to bring at:

and as usual, all extra tips are most welcome!
