Default Unreserved Foot Passenger Travel from Ireland to France (Ferries)

Is it possible to travel unreserved on the Rosslare Cherbourg Ferries
if you are a foot passenger?

You can do it from Dublin to Hloyhead no problem.

Any Answers HELP.

I'm assuming this is Brittany ferries??
If so yes just turn up.
I can't help you with fares as I have only travelled Portsmouth to Caen,
which if recall correctly was around GBP20 for a 1 way foot passenger.
I would only bother reserving if you really want a cabin, or if your taking
a vehicle.
Personally I think that the cheaper cabins are ****e and usually just sleep
in the bar area which has nice long sofas, and is usually very quiet after
midnight.

Brittany Ferries go from Cork to Roscoff. they have around 50 reclining
seats which seem to go quickly but you can book at the port (Ringaskiddy).

Don't know about Irish Ferries (Rosslare-Cherbourg) but you could check
their website www.irishferries.com . I imagine its easier to turn up as a
footie rather than with a car and passengers..
