I think this list might be somewhat inaccurate.

I'm pretty sure Pacific Blue, Freedom Air, United or Malaysian don't fly
SYD-AKL.

Qantas, Air New Zealand, Thai and Emirates do. So do Lan Chile,
Aerolineas Argentinas and Polynesian.

The Australia- New Zealand routes are very competitive at the moment. I
have seen prices as low as AU$170 one-way, depending on when you want to
travel.

That is a very broad question. Why don't you try some Dutch internet
sites and see for yourself?

For example Vliegwinkel.nl (http://www.vliegwinkel.nl) has flights
from EURO 209 (+69.74 tax) with Qantas (for September 9+16). I don't
know if that is cheap, about AUD$ 365 (+122 tax), but it does not look
expensive to me.
